Native American Village ~ Hualapai Grand Canyon West

Hualapai Grand Canyon West has become a primary tourist destination in recent years and there sure is a lot of interesting things to see and do in this majestic place! The price of admission is all inclusive and the ticket price even includes the Grand Canyon Skywalk and a hearty western style meal. The shuttle bus service to all points of interest is free, so the car can be left behind at the airport welcome center. What this all adds up to is a care free full day of enjoying Mother Nature at her finest in the home of the Hualapai!

One of the first shuttle bus tour departure options is the Native American Village at Eagle Point, which is located next to the Grand Canyon Skywalk. This village features an outdoor museum that is truly an educational experience. Examples of unique tribal structures of the Southwest and the Great Plains can be seen throughout the grounds and each exhibit is a hands on experience. By following the path through the museum grounds, a visitor can gain a better understanding of traditional native lifestyles.

A canopy covered performing arts amphitheater that offers plenty of shade is also located at the Native American Village. This is a nice cool area to experience some cultural exchange and spiritual guidance. Tribal dancers, orators and musicians perform here all day long, so guests can attend anytime that they wish to. The recitations performed here are both spiritual and educational, so the audience will gain some insight into the traditional Grand Canyon way of life.

The Hualapai Native American Village Museum and the Performing Arts Theater at Eagle Point are great experiences for children and adults of all ages, so this cultural destination is simply a must to do. The Native American dancer recitations and prayers may even help visitors gain the spiritual strength to overcome the brave challenge of the Grand Canyon Skywalk! The village at Eagle Point is a great place to start a day of adventure and the experience will set a Mother Earth spiritual tone that will surely be reflected upon for a lifetime.
